LA-based director of photography, Lidia works on narrative, documentary and commercial projects. Prior to working in film she was a photojournalist - her work has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Australian Financial Review, The Daily Telegraph, and The Australian. She believes that thoughtfulness, authenticity and honesty are crucial to storytelling.
Her films played at numerous festivals including New York Film Festival, Mill Valley International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Ashland Independent Film Festival and many more. She received several Best Cinematography awards for her film The Day That (2017). Lidia’s commercial work has been featured on Vimeo, i-D, Vogue and Nowness. Her client list includes Netflix, COMPLEX, Vice, VICELAND, Spotify, and Hypebeast.
She is a recipient of a prestigious American Film Institute Scholarship. Lidia has a BA in Film Theory from The University of Sydney (AUS) and MFA in Cinematography from AFI (USA).
Lidia is a member of ICFC, Cinematographers XX and WIM.
